A Star In the Sun

This is Skyla ready for the sun! It's been blazing here lately. We had a pinic together while Brian was away with work. We blew bubbles (one of her favorite things to do in the summer) AND ate ice cream (one of MY favorite things to do in the summer). Lovely Jubbley, as she and her Grandpa Nev would say!

I Made the Cut

No, the latter's actually my arm there. Nevermind. Only one strange denim-wearing growth to worry about after all.

Stuffed and Snoozed

I made my very first German Chocolate Cake (with my family's secret tricks) and it was GREAT! Only thing that needed improvement was the darn cake platter-----or lack of one, rather....Had to use a stupid PLATE.

Oh well Happy 29th Brian! (May 6th)

Then there's Skyla with one of her wilted flowers that she picked off of the ground in the park----laying in bed pretending to be a Princess. AWWWWW

Lady Weirdo

You send Skyla an outfit, she's gonna wear it. Over and Over and OVER again. The purple dress is somthing from my Dad and Cathi, and yes that's a sword that Skyla wanted from the fair we took her to. Oh what's up with the vacuum? That's just one of Skyla's OTHER favorite toys. Yeah! I'm four and I like SWORDS and VACUUMS! And outfits.

And above in the orange is one of her Ice Cream shirts from my Mom, and she's holding her best doggie named Bisquit---after a character in a book they both love (not me. NOT ME! I HATE that word repeating HELL it puts me through until my throat runs dry...)
She's standing next to my new, but old, VANITY! We got it at the second hand shop for FAR less than it's worth! I love it.

More Handywork

Alright. First we've got no one in particular. Just someone with teeth. Very important.

Next we have a baby elephant, and that trunk sticking out from the right side is "just the Mommy elephant."
